We are Ron & Tina, We are the owners of a small family-owned farm in Northeast Indiana. Our first year on the farm my husband took in 6 hens, that I personally didn't want, little did I know what an addiction chickens and eggs of every color would become. I take pride in helping others chase that same rainbow basket with fresh, high-quality hatching eggs and chicks.
We offer Blue, Black and Splash Ameraucanas and Blue, Black and Splash Croad Langshans. We strive for the best egg colors while maintaining the SOP. All of our chickens are pasture raised. Our number one goal is happy and healthy chickens!
Ten Feather Farm participates in the National Poultry improvement plan, all of our chickens are tested yearly. NPIP 32-585 Member of the Ameraucana Breeders Club
HATCHING EGGS-We test for fertility often.
We ship USPS 2-3 day priority Monday - Tuesday, we use foam shippers for the safety of the eggs and double boxed. Shipping rate for 1/2 -1 dozen eggs is $25. We also have a Farm pick up. Orders are filled on a first come first serve basis, when payment is received. Once your order is placed your place in line is reserved. I do send 1-2 extra eggs depending on availability. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE your hatch rate due to shipping and incubation. Shipped eggs are always a risk. There is NO refund on Hatching eggs.
CHICKS- All chicks are sold healthy with no sign of illness. There is a 6 chick minimum and a 10 chick maximum for shipping and 3 chick minimum and 15 chick maximum on farm pick up. You can combine different breeds of chicks in your order. Orders can take 3-8 weeks depending on pending orders. All chicks are straight run.
Shipping rate is $60 for 1-2 day USPS priority express. We also have farm pick up.We do NOT guarantee alive arrival of shipped chicks, once they leave the farm I cannot control the climate and/or handling. I always try to send extra chicks when available. We don’t offer refunds on shipping charges.
CANCELLATION- If you need to cancel your order a refund will be issued. Please let me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel. We are in Northern Indiana, Winters are long and cold, We will only ship from Mid April to August, Weather permitting.
